Feed the Good in Your Gut

Bloating, reflux or simply not feeling quite right can make you think more about your gut and what you’re feeding it.

Your gut is home to trillions of microbes, and what you eat helps shape the community living there.

Our ferments make it easy to bring live cultures, fibre and more plant variety to your plate, one forkful at a time.

Live cultures. Fibre. Plant variety. Real food.

It started with our own health

Wild Pantry grew from Daniel and Alice’s own health struggles, including Daniel’s pre-cancerous diagnosis, and their search for natural alternatives to support their health.

What started with home fermentation has grown into over ten thousands of jars and bottles, 12 independent stockists and national awards.

Every batch is still made by Daniel and Alice in Liverpool, with organic ingredients and one simple aim: make fermented food people genuinely love eating.

  • Because they’re raw and unpasteurised. We don’t heat-treat our ferments after making them, so they need to stay chilled at 0 to 5°C. Pop them back in the fridge after each use and always use a clean fork.

  • No, and that’s very much the point. Our ferments are raw and unpasteurised, so they reach you just as we make them here in Liverpool.

  • Of course. It’s your box. Try one of each, double up on a favourite or fill the whole box with the same ferment. The more you buy, the cheaper it is.

  • No. Open the jar and they’re ready to eat. We love a forkful alongside eggs, curries, salads and sandwiches, or a spoonful of Fermented Salsa with tacos. If you’re adding them to a hot meal, we’d add them once you’ve finished cooking.

  • There’s no set serving. If fermented foods are new to you, start small. A forkful alongside a meal is an easy place to begin, then find the amount that suits you. Recently though, studies have shown a tablespoon a day is a great place to start.

  • Each jar comes with a use-by date. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and use a clean fork each time. Don’t worry if it takes you a while to get through a jar. Once opened, use within 21 days.

  • We pack your box with insulation and an ice pack before sending it by next-day courier. We only dispatch Tuesday to Thursday, so your ferments aren’t planned to spend the weekend sitting in a courier depot.

  • Yes. We deliver across L and CH postcodes ourselves every fortnight. So if you’re local, there’s a good chance it’ll be one of us handing your box over at the door. And if you’ve got a ferment question, ask away.

  • Nationwide chilled delivery is £4.99 on orders under £35, £2.99 for Local Delivery. Spend £35 or more and delivery is on us.

Bloating, reflux or simply not feeling quite right can make you start paying more attention to your gut & what you’re feeding it.

Your gut is home to trillions of microbes, and your diet helps shape the community living there. Bringing more fermented foods, fibre and plant variety to your plate is one way to give that community a wider range of foods to work with.

Our ferments make that easy. Live cultures, whole vegetables, fibre and different plants, herbs and spices, ready to add by the forkful to food you already eat.

More variety for your gut and something you’ll actually enjoy eating.
