If you’re looking for raw fermented foods in Merseyside, you’re probably not just looking for something that tastes good.
You might be looking for food and drink that feels closer to nature.
Something alive.
Something made with care.
Something that supports your gut without feeling like another health chore.
That’s why we started Wild Pantry.
We make raw, unpasteurised fermented foods and drinks for people who want gut-loving flavour they can enjoy every day.
From our award-winning water kefir to our delicious sauerkrauts and iconic fermented salsa, everything we make is small batch, full of live cultures and made with organic ingredients wherever we can.
And the good news? You can find us across Merseyside in-person and online.
From Liverpool to Wirral, Woolton to Hoylake, there are plenty of ways to get your hands on proper raw ferments.

What are raw fermented foods?
Raw fermented foods are foods that have been fermented naturally and not pasteurised after fermentation. That matters because pasteurisation uses heat. Heat can kill the live cultures created during fermentation. Raw fermented foods keep those live cultures intact.
Examples include:
Raw sauerkraut
Fermented salsa
Kimchi-style ferments
Water kefir
Kombucha
Fermented vegetables
At Wild Pantry, we focus on water kefir, sauerkraut and fermented salsa. Our ferments are made to be easy to enjoy with meals you already eat and fit into everyday life rather than eating something simply just for the benefits.
No fuss. No strange routines. Just real food and drink with proper flavour.
Where to buy raw fermented foods in Liverpool
If you’re based in Liverpool, there are a few ways to buy Wild Pantry.
You can find us through selected stockists, at markets and through our local delivery rounds.
Our Liverpool stockists include places such as:
Purple Carrot
Woolton Farm Shop
HiVibe Nutrition
Melling Farm Shop
Each stockist carries a different range, so it’s worth checking with them before making a special trip.
You may find our water kefir, krauts, fermented salsa or a mix of the range.
We love working with local shops because they care about good food. They know their customers and they help make raw fermented foods easier to find across Merseyside.

Where to buy raw fermented foods on the Wirral
If you’re on the Wirral, you can also find Wild Pantry through our stockist network.
We're currently available in Wild Pear, The Seafood Shack and Solo The Bakery. Wirral has been a big part of our journey. You can find our full stockist list here
We love seeing more people across the area looking for raw, natural and gut-friendly food.
From West Kirby and Heswall to Birkenhead, Wallasey and New Brighton, we’re working to make Wild Pantry easier to find across the peninsula. We're regularly at markets on the Wirral too.
Can I buy Wild Pantry at local markets?
Yes. Markets are a huge part of how we started and how we still connect with people.
They give you the chance to try before you buy.
You can sample flavours. You can ask questions. You can find out which ferment is right for you. That might be a bottle of Elderflower Champagne water kefir if you want something light and floral. It might be ImmuniKraut if you want crunch and tang with your lunch.
Or it might be our fermented salsa if you want something that feels familiar but has a gut-loving twist.
We attend markets across Merseyside and nearby areas through the year. You can check our latest market dates through our market planner. This is the best place to see where we’ll be next.

Do you deliver raw fermented foods in Merseyside?
Yes, we offer fortnightly local deliveries to L and CH postcodes. That covers many areas across Liverpool, Wirral and surrounding parts of Merseyside and Cheshire.
Local delivery is a good option if you already know what you like and want your ferments brought to your door.
It also helps if you can’t make it to one of our markets or stockists.
You can order online through our website and choose the local delivery option at checkout when available for your postcode.
What makes Wild Pantry different?
Wild Pantry was not started in a boardroom. It grew from our own health journey. Daniel struggled with acid reflux, which led to a pre-cancerous Barrett’s oesophagus diagnosis.
Alice dealt with bloating and gut discomfort. Fermented foods became part of how we rebuilt our relationship with food and found a natural way to support ourselves. But we did not want ferments that felt clinical.
We wanted food and drink that tasted good enough to reach for again and again. As when you enjoy something, you naturally reach for it everyday, looking after yourself in the process.
That still guides what we make today.
Wild Pantry ferments are:
Raw and unpasteurised
Made in small batches
Full of live cultures
Made with organic ingredients where possible
Designed for everyday meals
Built around flavour first
We want gut health to feel normal. Not complicated. Not bland. Not something you force yourself to do.
How to start with raw fermented foods
If you’re new to fermented foods, start small. A little each day is better than going all in at once.
Try:
A spoonful of kraut with eggs
Fermented salsa with tacos or chilli
ImmuniKraut on a Greek bowl with chicken
Water kefir with lunch
A small glass of Elderflower Champagne water kefir as a soft drink swap
The best ferment is the one you enjoy enough to keep eating. That’s the bit many people miss. Your gut does not need another short-lived health kick. It needs habits you can stick with.
Where is the best place to buy Wild Pantry?
That depends on how you like to shop.
If you want to chat, sample and explore the range, come and see us at a local market.
If you want to pick up a jar or bottle while shopping, visit one of our Merseyside stockists.
