Let’s be honest, I don’t love the taste of traditional sauerkraut. I find it a bit bland and a bit sour (it’s literally in the name). And if you’re like me, it can be hard to stick with something that doesn’t taste good, even if you know it’s good for your gut.
That’s why, when we started Wild Pantry, we knew we wanted to make ferments that were genuinely enjoyable. Because when it tastes good, looking after yourself doesn’t feel like a chore.
1. Sauerkraut Not Your Thing? Try Our Fermented Salsa
We created our Fermented Salsa for people who don’t love kraut but still want the benefits. It’s fresh, punchy and packed with gut-loving bacteria, but in salsa form.
You can have it with chips on the sofa, spoon it over eggs on toast (one of our customer’s favourites), or add it to tacos, wraps or salads. It’s a versatile condiment that brings life to any plate.
And because it’s raw and fermented, you still get all the good stuff... probiotics, enzymes and postbiotics to support digestion.

2. Like Pickled Flavours? Meet Our PowerKraut
If you enjoy bolder flavours, think pickled onions or chutney, our PowerKraut might surprise you.
We’ve found loads of people who say they don’t like kraut end up loving PowerKraut. It’s got a proper punch to it and a more rounded flavour than the usual plain white cabbage ferment.

It includes:
Beetroot
Red onion
Carrot
Garlic
Black pepper
Turmeric
It’s tangy, savoury, slightly earthy, and has that slight pickled onion vibe. People eat it with:
Cheese and crackers
Jacket potatoes
Curries
Sandwiches and wraps
As a slaw or chutney replacement
Basically anywhere you’d use coleslaw or a pickle this works.
Want to Give It a Go?
Our Fermented Food Trio is the best place to start:
1 jar of PowerKraut
1 jar of ImmuniKraut
1 jar of Fermented Salsa
Or choose three of your favourite.

We deliver for free to Liverpool (L) and Wirral (CH) postcodes — or you can pick them up at one of our artisan markets around Merseyside.
Fermented food doesn’t have to be sour and sad. We’ve made it bold, versatile and easy to enjoy — so your gut can get the love it needs, without the compromise
