By placing an order with Wild Pantry Fermentary LTD (16810766), you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

1. About Wild Pantry

Wild Pantry produces fermented foods and drinks in Liverpool, UK.

Our products are made in small batches and include living ferments that require refrigerated storage.

2. Our Products

Our fermented products are made in small batches using natural ingredients.
Fermentation is a living process. This means there can be natural differences between batches, including flavour, texture, colour, acidity, brine level and carbonation.
Ingredients and allergen information are shown on the relevant product page and product packaging.
Please check this information before ordering and consuming our products.

3. Refrigerated Storage

Products marked as requiring refrigeration must be kept refrigerated at 0°C to 5°C.
Please place your products in the fridge as soon as possible after delivery.
Our living ferments can continue to ferment. Leaving them outside the fridge for extended periods can increase fermentation, pressure and the chance of leakage.
Always follow the storage instructions provided on the product.

4. Nationwide Delivery

We deliver eligible products to addresses across our available UK nationwide delivery area.
Nationwide delivery costs £4.99.
Nationwide delivery is free when your eligible order value is £35 or more.
We currently dispatch nationwide orders from Tuesday to Thursday. This reduces the chance of chilled orders being held within a courier network over a weekend.
Orders are sent using a next-day delivery service with one of our chosen courier partners, which may include DPD or another suitable courier.

Next-day delivery describes the courier service used and is not a guarantee that every parcel will arrive the following day. Delays can sometimes happen once a parcel enters the courier network.
We may delay dispatch during very hot weather, severe weather, bank holidays, courier disruption or other circumstances where we believe sending your chilled products could affect their condition.
If we delay your dispatch, we will send your order at the next suitable opportunity.

5. Nationwide Chilled Packaging

Nationwide chilled orders are packed using insulated packaging and ice packs designed to help keep products chilled during their expected journey.
Ice packs may be partly or fully thawed by the time your parcel arrives. This alone does not mean the products are unsuitable.
Please unpack your order when it arrives and place the products in the fridge straight away.
Do not leave chilled deliveries outside, in a porch, parcel box, reception area or other location for longer than necessary.

6. Living Ferments During Delivery

Our products contain living ferments.
Changes in temperature and movement during delivery can cause fermentation to remain active and pressure to build inside jars or bottles.
You may notice:
• A small amount of leakage around the lid
• Pressure when opening a product
• Brine or liquid around the inside of the packaging
• Increased carbonation or activity
A small amount of leakage does not necessarily mean the product is faulty.
Please refrigerate products before opening and open them carefully.
If you are concerned about the condition of a product when it arrives, contact us before consuming it.

7. Damaged Nationwide Deliveries

We pack glass products carefully, but damage can happen during courier delivery.
If a jar or bottle arrives smashed, badly damaged or otherwise unusable, please contact info@wildpantry.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery.
Please include:
• Your order number
• A photo of the damaged product
• A photo of the inside of the parcel
• A photo of the outside of the parcel if there is visible damage
Please take care when handling parcels containing broken glass.
Where goods have arrived damaged, faulty or not as described, we will deal with the issue in line with your legal rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement or refund.

8. Courier Delays

Courier delays can occasionally happen.
If your delivery is delayed, please refrigerate the products as soon as they arrive.
If you are concerned about the condition of your products following a delay, contact us at info@wildpantry.co.uk with your order number and details of the delivery.
We will assess delayed deliveries individually based on the length of the delay and the condition of the products when they arrive.

9. Local Delivery

We deliver directly to eligible Liverpool L and Wirral CH postcodes.
Local delivery takes place fortnightly on Thursday evenings, with Liverpool and Wirral delivery weeks alternating.
The available delivery date for your area will be shown when ordering.
Local delivery costs £2.49.
Local delivery is free when your eligible order value is £35 or more.
Deliveries are normally made from 5pm onwards.
If nobody is available to receive the delivery, we may leave it in a suitable safe place where one is available.
Once delivered, please bring your order inside and refrigerate chilled products as soon as possible.

10. Incorrect Delivery Information

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, postcode and contact information when ordering.
Please check these details before completing your order.
Contact us as soon as possible if you notice a mistake.
Once an order has been dispatched, we may not be able to change the delivery address.
We are not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied when ordering.

11. Missed and Unattended Deliveries

Our products are perishable, so please make suitable arrangements to receive your order.
Courier delivery instructions, safe-place requests and delivery changes made directly with the courier are at the customer’s discretion.
Once a parcel has been delivered to the address or safe place requested by the customer, please collect and refrigerate it as soon as possible.
We cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by a chilled parcel being left unattended for an extended period after a successful delivery.

12. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Our chilled fermented products are perishable goods.
We do not accept change-of-mind returns of perishable products after delivery.
This does not affect your legal rights where a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact info@wildpantry.co.uk as soon as possible. For visible delivery damage, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours and provide photographs so we can investigate the issue.
If you need to cancel or change an order before dispatch, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to make the requested change where the order has not already been prepared or dispatched.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

13. Orders and Availability

All orders are subject to availability.
Because we make our ferments in batches, products can occasionally sell out.
We may refuse or cancel an order where there has been a pricing error, stock issue, delivery restriction, suspected misuse or another reasonable reason that prevents us from fulfilling the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the affected amount.

14. Payment and Pricing

All prices are shown in pounds sterling.
Any delivery charge will be shown before you complete checkout.
Payment is taken using the payment methods available through our website.
We do not directly store your payment card details.

15. Food Allergies and Intolerances

Ingredients and allergen information are provided on our website and product packaging.
Please read this information carefully before ordering and consuming our products.
If you have a food allergy and need more information before ordering, contact info@wildpantry.co.uk.

16. Responsibility After Delivery

Once your order has been successfully delivered, you are responsible for following the storage and handling instructions supplied with the products.
Wild Pantry cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by products being stored outside their stated storage conditions after delivery.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

17. Website Use

Content on the Wild Pantry website, including text, photography, branding and graphics, belongs to Wild Pantry or is used with permission.
You must not reproduce or commercially use our website content without permission.
You must not deliberately interfere with the operation or security of our website.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when our products, prices, delivery services or business practices change.
The terms that apply to your purchase will be those published on our website when you place your order.
